🏁 Fast-Track Operations

⌨️ Keypad Workflow

Step 1: Select a category and product.
Step 2: Enter quantity on the keypad.
Variable Weight Products: For products sold by weight (e.g. kg), simply type 500 for 500g or use the decimal point (.) on the keypad to enter fractional amounts - e.g. .5 for half a kilo, or 1.5 for 1.5kg.
Efficient Buttons:
- + (Add & Stay): Adds to cart and stays in the category for more items. Repeated presses add new line items (useful for different weights of the same product).
- = (Add & View): Adds to cart and moves straight to the order summary.
Line Item Customization:
- Tap the Product Title: Clicking the product name at the top of the keypad reveals a hidden customization area.
- Description: Enter a custom name or detail for this specific line item.
- Price Override: Manually adjust the price for this sale. The total will update in real-time.

⚠️ Pro Tip (Quantities): When editing cart items - changes are not additive, new values replace the existing quantity. If you already have 1 item and enter 5, the new total becomes 5. To Delete an item, simply enter 0 as the quantity.

📦 Navigation & Products

Tap a Category folder to view its Products.
Use the Category Heading above the grid to navigate back to Home.
Stock Indicators:
- Low Stock: A red dot appears on the top right of the product button.
- Out of Stock: A red dot with a grayed-out button. The product is still active and can be sold as normal.

📦 Checkout & Customers

Retail vs Wholesale: Tap the Retail badge in the header to select a wholesale customer. You can now search by name, business name, or phone number. Results appear instantly as you type; simply tap a customer from the dropdown to select them and switch to wholesale pricing.
Checkout Flows:
- Save & Next: High-speed anonymous cash sale. Returns instantly to the store front for the next customer.
- Save & Send: CRM mode. Use the Unified Search field to look up existing customers by Name, Business, or Phone Number.
  - Live Autocomplete: Matches appear immediately as you type.
  - Auto-Fill: Selecting a search result automatically populates the customer's phone, email, and address details.
  - Manual Entry: If no match is found, simply continue typing to register a new customer.
- Download Invoice (PDF): Local Invoice Saving. Save a copy of the current invoice locally for your records. POS will create invoice even while offline!

📡 Resilience

Because we live in the real world - this POS works offline! When online, it will check in every few minutes so see if updates are available. When offline - it stores all sales transactions and new customer records safely in your terminal's secure database.

Check the Sync Status in the header:

Green: Online. Data is safe on the server.
Amber: Pending Sync. Transactions are stored safely in your browser.
Grey: Offline. Device has no connection.

🔐 Authentication & Sessions

Proactive Warnings: If your session is within 60 minutes of expiring, a warning message will appear. You can hit "Refresh Login" to immediately re-authenticate and stay active without interruption, or you can choose to continue working if busy with a customer transaction.
Offline Resilience: If your device goes offline, ChillTill suspends session checks. You can continue processing sales indefinitely.
Secure Re-Sync: When you come back online after a session has expired, the terminal will promptly ask you to log back in. This ensures that while you can continue to process sales offline - your offline sales are synced securely by authenticated users only.
